If you or your business owns, operates or has control over lifting equipment in any capacity, it must comply with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER). These regulations ensure that all equipment used for lifting is appropriate for the task, suitably marked and examined every 6 to 12 months or under a written scheme of examination or for exceptional circumstances to ensure the safe lifting of loads and legal compliance.
